Abstract:
In this paper, our works concerned with the use of liquid crystal stationary phasehave been summarized. They include the studies on the selectivity rule of liquid crystalstationary phase, the methods of preparation of chromatographic columns coated withliquid crystal, and the applications of liquid crystal column for separating various disubs-tituted bezene isomers, dimethyl and trimethyl phenol isomers, and coal tar fractions. All the separation results are satisfactory, and the specificity of liquid crystal stationaryphase is obvious.
