Study on Secondary Structures of a Protein by Infrared Spectra

摘要: 蛋白质的多肽锭组成了各种特定的三维空间构象,氢键在维系这种构造中起着十分重要的作用。本文通过红外光谱法研究了蛋白质的二级结构和氢键在维系这种构造中的作用,发现具有螺旋和折叠构象的多肽链主要以反式构象为特征排布。Abstract: The polypeptide chains of a protein form various special three dimensional structures.Hydrogen bond plays an important role in maintaining the structures.We studied the secondary structures of a protein and the function of hydrogen bond in maintaining the structures by the aid of IR spectra.It is found that a trans structure is the major characteristic arrangement in polypeptide chains with helix and cheet structures.
