Abstract: A nonlinear dynamical model for growth and decline of forest resources is presented for simulation. A numerical method for calculating Lyapunov exponent of discret type nonlinear dynamical systems with delay is proposed to describe indirectly complex nonlinear dynamical behavior and to provide the theoretical basis for coordination relationships between ecology and economy.
