    Development of JKR Instrument and Characterization of Surface Adhesion of Nanocomposite Polymeric Hydrogels

    • 摘要: 基于Johnson Kendall Roberts(JKR)理论在实验室研制了一台JKR表面能仪,并用它研究了纳米复合聚合物水凝胶的表面黏结性能。纳米复合聚合物水凝胶由甲基丙烯酸在纳米黏土Laponite水溶液中聚合而成。这种JKR表面能仪非常适合于定量表征聚合物水凝胶等软物质的表面黏结性能,在生物医学、组织工程、功能性薄膜等领域具有广泛的应用前景。

       

      Abstract: Based on Johnson Kendall Roberts (JKR) theory, the JKR instrument to characterize surface adhesion energy was developed in our laboratory. By using it, the surface adhesion property of nanocomposite polymeric hydrogels (NC gels) was investigated. The nanocomposite polymeric hydrogels were synthesized by polymerizing methyl acrylic acid in aqueous solution of Laponite. The JKR instrument is very suitable for quantitative characterization on the adhesion behavior of soft materials like polymeric hydrogels, and has broad applications in the fields of biomedical engineering, tissue engineering and functional thin films.
