Abstract: The effects of some factors, such as time, temperature, pressure and heating rate on the pyrolysis of some chinese coals were investigated. The single reaction model and multiple reaction models were discussed and the kinetic parameters of both models were determined from experimental. The main factors, such as temperature and pressure were described using tetralin pretreating coal.
