    水性封闭型多异氰酸酯的制备

    • 摘要: 用异氰酸酯三聚体与聚乙二醇单甲醚(MPEG)反应,再用封闭剂将剩余的异氰酸酯基封闭,制得可水分散的非离子型封闭异氰酸酯(WBI),详细讨论了制备这种亲水性封闭型多异氰酸酯的主要影响因素。结果表明:选用数均分子量小于2 000的MPEG,以甲乙酮肟(MEKO)作为封端剂,可以制备黏度适中且稳定的亲水性封闭型多异氰酸酯;用IPDI三聚体较HDI三聚体更容易制得粒径分布均匀,储存稳定性好的水性封闭型多异氰酸酯;在用MPEG制备封闭型亲水性多异氰酸酯时,MPEG用量超过某“临界值”时,乳液的性质会发生突变,多异氰酸酯品种不同时,该“临界值”不同。

       

      Abstract: The nonionic waterborne blocked polyisocyanate(WBI) was prepared by reaction of isocyanate trimer and methoxy polyethylene glycol, and then blocking remnant active —NCO groups with blocking agent. Results showed that WBI emulsion with moderate viscosity and good storage stability could be prepared with low moleculare weight MPEG (Mn<2 000), and using MEKO as blocking agent. WBI emulsion prepared with IPDI trimer showed more uniform particle size distribution and better storage stability than that from HDI trimer. Physical properties of WBI emulsion changed dramatically once the MPEG content exceed an "critical value". The "critical value" varied for different kinds of ployisocyanate.
