    Surface Tension Equations for Nonideal Binary Surfactant Systems

    • 摘要: 将非理想混合吸附理论与Szyszkowski方程相结合,建立了非理想二元表面活性剂体系的表面张力方程,并提出了确定方程参数的单点实验法,从而可以根据单一表面的活性剂体系的γ-logC曲线和二元混合体系的一个表面张力数据预测不同体相组成的浓度时二元混合体系的表面张力。实验结果表明,所建方程对非理想二元混合表面活性剂体系具有广泛的适用性。

       

      Abstract: By combining nonideal mixed adsorption theory with Szyszkowski equation, the surface tension equations for nonideal binary surfactant mixture solution are established and the method to find out equation parameters is proposed. Thus it is possible to predict the surface tensions of binary surfactant mixture solutions at different bulk compositions and concentrations based on the logC relationships of individual surfactants and by only one surface tension measurement of their binary mixture solution. Good agreements have been obtained between predicted and experimental results when the equations established are applied to several anionic/cationic binary surfactant mixtures without or with excess added inorganic salt, which shows that the surface tension equations are generally applicable to nonideal binary surfactant mixture solutions.
