    A study of the action of coupling agents on the interface between polypropylene and glass fiber with FT-IR and DSC

    • 摘要: 中碱玻纤(CG)增强聚丙烯(PP)片状模塑料是一种新型复合材料。由于PP的非极性,因此它与CG表面结合状态的改善成为这种材料的关键问题之一。本文选取反丁烯二酸硝酸铬络合物体系作为偶联剂,以红外光谱、富里埃变换红外光谱及差示扫描量法热来研究偶联剂与PP、CG的作用。发现界面有化学作用,对PP有结晶成核作用。

       

      Abstract: By FT-IR and DSC, the chemical reaction on the interface between the polypropy-lene and glass fiber using the following two systems of coupling agent was studied. A: Fumaric acid-Chromic nitrate Complex (FCC); B: FCC+4, 4-Dimaleic Imide Biphenylether. After the surface treatment with A or B on PP or glass fiber, some new chemicalbonds produce on the interface, and also the coupling agents have nucleation action onpolypropylene.
