Abstract:
An industrial investigation of heat exchanger with curve-ROD baffle was carried into execution. The shell-side and tube-side heat transfer and pressure drop were studied. The hot acetic acid was in the tube-side while the cold water was in the shell-side. Through data processing, the total heat transfer coefficient of the heat exchanger was obtained in the design working condition. Meanwhile, modified Wilson graphic method was adopted to obtain the correlation between Nu and Re for tube-side and shell-side.
