    Research on Residence Time Distribution in a countercurrent Packed Column by a Hypothetical Multipipe Model

    • 摘要: 对填料塔中的气液逆流过程,用虚拟气液固圆柱体建立了多管流动模型,得到了充分发展段和进口过渡段的速度分布和一定管长下的液相停留时间分布,进而求得液相平均停留时间和持液量的表达式及模型参数,并用实验进行了验证。该模型反映了气液逆流过程本质,简化了过程,适用于液相层流的情况。

       

      Abstract: A multi pipe flow model was established for hypothetical gas liquid solid cylinders under liquid gas countercurrent condition in the packed column. Velocity distribution of the transient section of the entrance and full developed section and the liquid residence time distribution (RTD) at a certain height of column were obtained and also demonstrated by experiments. This model is available when the liquid phase is in laminar flow. It can be directly used to calculate the liquid RTD, the average liquid residence time and the holdup in packed column.
