    Biological Activity of Galactooligosaccharides

    • 摘要: 对利用固定化β-半乳糖苷酶连续合成的半乳糖寡糖进行了有关生物活性的研究。通过双歧杆蓖培养实验和动物试验证实了半乳糖寡糖具有高效,专一地促进双歧杆菌生长,改善动物肠道内菌群分布,促进钙的吸收,提高食物的转化率,降低血清胆固醇含量及盲肠内pH等生物活性。

       

      Abstract: The biological activity of galactooligosaccharides (GOS) produced continuously by immobilized galactosidase was studied. It was verified by animal examination and bifidobacteria culture in vitro that GOS had the ability of promoting the growth of bifidobacteria efficiently and specifically, improving the intestinal microflora in albino rats, reducing serum cholesterol concentration, lowering cecal pH and increasing the calcium absorption and feed efficiency.
