Abstract:
A DN600, CLASS300 metal to metal contact(MMC) bolted flanged joints test device at high temperature was established, and the temperature distribution at 500℃ was obtained. Meanwhile, simulation results of the three-dimensional thermodynamic model of flange joints, which was developed by using the finite element software ANSYS, were verified by experimental results; the temperature distribution and heat loss under both conditions were analyzed. Results show that the temperature of each component tends to be uniform when flange joints are insulated, which is closed to that of the inner wall of flange and has a relatively rise compared with the uninsulated flange joints; the energy efficiency is obvious.
