    SBS改性浅色沥青胶结料的流变性能

    Rheological Properties of SBS Modified Colored Binders for Asphalt Concrete Pavement

    • 摘要: 采用苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SBS)和乙烯-醋酸乙烯共聚物(EVA)复合改性C9树脂和高含量芳烃减压馏分油获得了浅色沥青胶结料,对比考察了国内外同类产品和70#基质沥青族组成和流变性能。研究结果表明:EVA和SBS可明显改善浅色沥青胶结料的针入度、软化点和延度;添加SBS后浅色沥青胶结料的动力黏度变大,损耗因子的变化幅度变小,温度敏感性能有较大改善。动态剪切和应力流变测试结果表明,加入SBS后浅色沥青胶结料复合模量略有改善,损耗因子在50℃附近出现明显拐点,抗车辙性能有较大改善。蠕变性能分析结果表明,SBS改性浅色沥青胶结料的形变和恢复率可达70#基质沥青水平,胶结料形变恢复率明显提高。

       

      Abstract: Colored asphalt concrete pavement is conducive to traffic guidance, and can also prevent and control road traffic accidents in an effective way. Recently, colored asphalt concrete pavement is used for preventing "heat island" phenomenon in many cities because dark asphalt pavements have strong absorption of sunlight. Colored binder is the main component of colored asphalt concrete. In this paper, a light-colored binder was prepared and modified by adding EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer) and SBS (styrene butadiene styrene block polymer) into the mixture of a C9 resin and a vacuum gasoil. The vacuum gasoline had a high aromatic content in order to dissolve C9 resin to form a base light-colored oil of the binder. EVA and SBS were employed to improve the rheological properties of the binder since the two polymers were wildly used in the modification of conventional asphalt. The rheological properties of the prepared light-colored binder, several commercial binders and a 70# asphalt were determined and compared. Results show that the introduction of EVA and SBS can significantly improve the properties of the light-colored binder, including penetration, softening point and ductility. The addition of SBS in the binder leads to a remarkable increase in viscosity of the light-colored binder, and properties of dissipation factor and viscosity temperature sensitivity of the prepared binder are also improved. Dynamic shear and stress tests show that the composite modulus of the light-colored binder is slightly improved. The loss factor of the binder presents a yielding point around 50℃, which means its temperature sensitivity at high temperature was improved by the addition of SBS. Moreover, the rutting resistance ability of the SBS modified light-colored binder is enhanced. The deformation recovery rate of the SBS modified light-colored binder can reach the Chinese national standard level of 70# asphalt, which indicates that the croop property of the light-colored binder is satisfied.
